It focuses on Stefan, a centuries old vampire that falls in love with Elana, a girl he just has to have. And then lots of crazy action and stuff happens, with attacking vampires and blood and lust.

Its not anything like the book...Its not anything like Twilight so ppl shuldnt say they copied it from Twilight because it came out 15 years before Twilight came out in 2005. If they were gonna make a tv show outta 1 of L.J. Smith's books they shuldve did The Secret Circle because there r no vampires and personally i like those books better...bye ppl.
