Bombarding My Crush With Tennis Balls!

I was sitting at home last weekend, enjoying the AC, when I got a call from my BFF Christine: she said my crush Tim was practicing tennis in the park!It might sound stalkerish, but I had been dying to see him all summer, so I headed right down there.
Tim was happy to see me. A good sign! But he was so focused on tennis, that I had to figure out a way to get involved. So I tried to use the tennis ball machine to help him practice.
Dumb idea. I had never used one before, and I must have turned the wrong switch, because the thing started to go crazy. All of a sudden, it started whipping the balls right at him. And one hit him square in the face and gave him a bloody nose!
I offered to get him help, but Tim shooed me away, muttering, "Thanks for helping out" sarcastically.
Ugh! Love-0 for me.
