The Boxer Shorts Upstaged Me!

This year, I was extra excited for the holiday season because my school was putting on a production of "A Christmas Carol," and I got to play Scrooge!
It took a lot of rehearsal and hard work, especially for me, because I had so many costume changes.
Finally, opening night came. And I was so nervous! It didn't help that after the first scene, I had a quick, complicated costume change.
Of course, I totally screwed it up.
After my quickie change from a bathrobe to a suit, I went back into the spotlight. But I noticed that everyone was cracking up. Why?
Apparently, I had totally forgotten to change into pants, and was standing there in my boxers! I just had to get through the scene feeling REALLY drafty.
And, of course, I turned a serious story into unintentional comedy.
Now I'm known as the Ghost of Doofus Past!
