He Smelled My Sweaty Pit!

This year, I made the school's track team — even better, my crush Everett is on the team, too!
Last week, I ran my butt off during an away meet, and actually got a ribbon, which was totally exciting.
But it was hard to be too happy, because when I sniffed myself, I smelled like total BO and forgot my deodorant at home!
As I got on the bus to head back, I tried to avoid my crush, but it was no use — Everett spotted me right away and sat next to me.
When he saw my ribbon, he went in for a hug...but got a big whiff of my stinky body instead and moved away.
"Congrats," he said, weakly (I could tell he was trying not to breathe through his nose).
Just then, the coach came up to me, patted me on the back for my win and said, "Isn't the smell of victory great?"
Sorry, coach. It's the pits!
