I Accidentally Sang My Love To My Crush's Mom!

So, a few weeks ago, I was sitting around with my girlfriends and, as usual, we were playing Truth or Dare.
When it was my turn, my friends dared me to call up my crush Patrick and sing to him!
I was REALLY not looking forward to it, but I didn’t feel like letting everyone down.
Finally, I got up the nerve and decided to belt out the JoBros' "Burning Up" for Patrick (because I'm totally "burning for him").
My heart was beating so fast when I called his cell. In fact, I didn't even wait for him to say hello.
Once I heard the phone pick up, I immediately starting singing at the top of my lungs...really loud...and really off-key.
At the end, I just blurted out, "I'm burning up for you, Patrick." When the person answered, it wasn't HIM on the line...it was a woman's voice.
In fact, it was his mom!
"Who is this again?" she said. "You really should take some singing lessons."
Apparently, his mom had picked up while Patrick was in the bathroom. I felt SOOOO embarrassed that I didn't even say anything...just hung up the phone.
So much for my daring performance!
I hate the Jo dudes! But feel really baf=d for you girl. That mom was really mean to you though!

omg!! lol. Im gonna tell u a story. Last summer I was prank calling my ex-boyfriend with my friend. We were cussing at him, and calling him a fruitcake. BUT, he went and got his mommy and she said "Do u wanna go 2 counseling? Let me talk 2 your mom!" My mom really wasn't there and she didn't believe me. Than she said "No reason 2 get smart with me young lady." And she eventually said "Leave us alone, thank you." I never told my mom. At the beginning, I said "Who is this?" And she said "This is his mom!" and I mumbled "U must b soooo proud." but she didnt hear me.
Why did his mom pick up his phone? Most people I know their parents just let it ring.
