I Lit My Butt On Fire!

One time, I was at my buddy Alex’s house for a BBQ and we were fooling around with matches.
Suddenly, Alex had a really stupid idea: Someone should try to light a fart with a match. Dumb, I know!
Even dumber: I volunteered to do it.
So I crouched down, struck the match and let out the biggest fart I could muster…
But nothing happened. That is, until Alex was like, “Dude, what’s that smell?”
Everybody looked down and saw that a thread on my shorts had caught part of the flame and started smoking! I screamed and ran around the yard in a panic.
Finally, Alex’s dad doused my butt with a bucket of ice water. So I was safe…but completely humiliated. Everybody at the BBQ (once they knew I was okay) thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Guess you don’t have to be a liar to have your pants on fire.
