I Made Him Sick to His Stomach!

One night, I invited my crush Derek over to hang out, and I made a huge deal about how I make the best sundaes in the world (because I do!). He tried to say he didn’t want one, but I wouldn’t take no for an answer. I piled gobs of chocolate, caramel, whipped cream, cherries and chocolate chips on top of three heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream.
He ate every last drop (because he's so polite!), but then said he wasn’t feeling well.
After pressuring him to tell me what was wrong, Derek finally confessed: He was severely lactose intolerant and wasn’t supposed to eat dairy, but I bullied him into it!
Basically, my crush spent the whole time in the bathroom getting violently ill. And it was all my fault!
But there was a happy ending: The next day, Derek apologized for getting sick (even though it was so not his fault)...and then asked me out! He said he only ate the ice cream because he didn't want to disappoint me.
How sweet is that!
