I've had a crush on this girl named Katie for, like, ever. Then, last week, I heard she thought I was cute, so I decided to ask her to the school dance, and she said yes!
At the dance, we clicked right off the bat, and were having such a great time!
I went to get us some drinks, and when I walked back, I saw someone who I thought was flirting with Katie.
She looked like she wasn't into him, so I figured I'd try to impress her by stepping in and telling the guy to back off.
"Yo, you mind dude?" the guy said. That's when I totally lost it! Without thinking twice, I landed a huge jab right to his gut.
"What are you doing? That's my brother!" Katie screamed.
Ugh. What an idiot I am. Her bro said there were no hard feelings (he can take a punch). But now Katie thinks I'm crazy.
Looks like I KO'd my chances with her.
