I Spilled Pasta Sauce On My Date's Dad!

I have a big crush on this girl named Sophie, and we've been hanging out a lot lately. In fact, she invited me to have dinner with her whole family!I really wanted to make a good impression, so I decided to bring some cookies to dinner as a gift. But I was late getting ready and didn't have a lot of time to go to the grocery store.
I ran out and tried to find some dessert as fast as I could. As I was running through the aisles of the store, I accidentally bumped into a guy who had a big jar of sauce in his arms. When we collided, the jar popped and spilled all over him!
He was really mad, but I just kept on running as he yelled at me. I figured I'd never see that guy again. Boy was I wrong!
I got to her house, and we were having a good time at first – her mom and brother were really nice. But then her dad came down – it was the same guy that I spilled the sauce on!
The whole dinner was really awkward and Sophie hasn't asked me out since. Plus, I had to pay the laundry bill for ruining her dad's shirt. Bleh.
