Miley and Demi: Bitter Twitter Feud?

What the tweet is going on between Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato?

On October 4, the two pals posted notes on Twitter that appeared to go from "awww isn't that sweet" to "oh no she di'nt" in 0 to 160 characters!

First, Miley tweeted the above pic with the note: "Now this is what true friendship looks like. None of that hollywood crap. @ddlovato I miss you =]"

Then, Demi wrote: "Yeah.. It's just kind of hard to miss somebody that I don't know anymore."

SOME bloggers (we're talking to you, Perez Hilton), interpreted that to mean that Demi had a problem with Miles.

But then D-Love set the record straight with this: "Hahahahahaaha too bad that's not who I was talking about. Nice one guys."

And then both had fun at the alleged "feud."

First Miley: "I can't sleep so I think I'm just gonna lay in bed and think about how much I hate @ddlovato Its what I spend most of my time doing. Haha!"

Then Demi: "@mileycyrus Hahahahahaa grrrr. So mad at you I can't handle it... but seriously. All joking aside.. I hate you. Sooooo much! :)"

OK, we get it, girls. You're not mad at each other.

But the question remains... who WAS Demi talking about!? Perez now thinks it could've been Selena Gomez, even though Dems also wrote: "Hope everyone picked up a copy of "Kiss And Tell" by Selena Gomez and The Scene... congrats @selenagomez on the new album"

*SIGH* Can't celebs make their disses less open to interpretation!!! We'll just have to stay tuned to read the next tweet leaves...
