Mom Interrupted My Date With a Kiss!

I was having dinner with my family (mom, dad and sister) last week, when I got a text from my crush Chloe – she wanted to come over!Well, my parents are weird about me inviting girls to the house, so I had to be sneaky about it. I texted Chloe to swing by the back door. So when dinner was over, I snuck her in and we watched TV down in the den.
No one knew that Chloe was in the house. But when I heard my mom start to come downstairs, I started to panic. Maybe she would just see the top of Chloe's head and think it was my sister, since they both have blonde curly hair.
I was right - but it totally backfired! After she said goodnight to me, my mom gave me a kiss on the cheek – and then bent over the couch and gave one to Chloe!
The jig, as they say, was up. I got into major trouble for sneaking a girl into the house. And Chloe was freaked out by my mom's kiss.
Could a date possibly go any worse?
