My Dad Couldn’t Pay For Dinner!

My dad got a promotion at work, so the whole family went out for dinner
to celebrate. We had a great night, indulging in appetizers, dessert, the works! When the check came, my dad reached for his wallet, but it wasn’t there. He left it at home!
He called the waiter over to explain what happened, but just then, some business man sitting near us offered to pay for our dinner. Turns out it was my crush Brian's dad!
My whole family was grateful for the help...except me, who realized that this was going to get back to Brian and everyone else at school.
The dinner may have been free, but I was certainly going to pay big time.

It happens to everyone! Honestly, I don't think you should feel bad. At all. You should respect your crush and his dad. At school you should just say for your crush to thank his dad. And then tell him the true story! No biggie! Don't be afraid of what other people think!
