My Shorts Fell Off At The Track Meet!

I was really nervous all of last week, because after all my hard work, I was going to the state track finals! I could barely sleep all week, and when the day of the meet came, I was a total spaz.I did my best to remember to put everything I needed in my track bag. But when I got to the locker room, I realized I had left the most important thing of all at home: my track shorts!
I had to borrow a much larger pair from a teammate, and went out to run the race.
Everything was going okay at first — I jumped out to an early lead and the thousands of fans were cheering me on. Then, panic set in: I started to feel my shorts slipping!
I kept running, but soon enough, my giant shorts slipped off my waist and fell right off! Then, I heard a giant roar of laughter... the whole stadium was pointing and looking at me!
Everyone passed me by as I pulled my shorts up, and I ended up not just humiliated, but losing the race, too!
Do they give out gold medals for klutziness?
