Rihanna's New Song Review: 4 4TNZeez!
Rihanna’s back. And she's packing heat!We've been bopping along to the R&B star’s new tune "Russian Roulette" all day (the first single off her album The Wait Is Ova, out November 23).
In fact, we can't get the slinky beats (courtesy of producer Ne-Yo) and the eerie, haunting chorus out of our heads! The track builds slowly to a crescendo before really taking off (although we would have liked something a little more uptempo and "Umbrella"-like as a first single, which is why we deducted 1 4TNZee out of a possible perfect score).
The Cliff's Notes version on the lyrics: Rihanna is a girl facing something super scary, but she steps up to the challenge (hmmm... Chris Brown reference, perhaps?). If that's not strength, then we don't now what is!
