Robsten Engaged Rumor Debunked!
Talk about a false alarm. Or false wedding bell.
You may have heard some gossip today that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are reportedly engaged (it was on the cover of a tabloid). But we can safely say it's as fake as K-Stew's new Bella wig!
The actual story itself doesn't say they're engaged at all. They just refer to the plotline in Eclipse when (*SPOILER ALERT*) Edward proposes to Bella.
"That means, of course, that at some point on the Vancouver set of the novel's big-screen incarnation, Robert Pattinson will whip out a ring and ask real-life love Kristen Stewart, 'Will you marry me?'" the article says. Reports one insider, "I can totally see them doing it."
Um, can you say fan fiction?
The only other "evidence" the magazine has for the supposed impending nuptials are claims that the two joke around onset about marriage. "I mean, we know they're joking, but if Kristen is looking for Rob, she'll say, 'Has anyone seen my husband?'" says a source. "And Rob loves to say, 'Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?'"
OK, so to recap:
* Their characters get engaged, so that's why this magazine ran the cover line "Engaged!" with a pic of Robsten
* Someone could "totally see them doing it"
* And they supposedly joke about being already married.
Sorry, lame tabloid. You'll have to do better than that if you want us to buy what you're selling!
