The Soccer Ball Rearranged My Face!

Every Friday after school, my buddies and I play soccer in the park.
One time, as we got a game going, I spotted my crush, Anne. She looked so hot!
Anyway, as Anne sat down to check out the game, I must have gotten distracted!
At one point, I stopped running and started to wave at her.
Well, my friend must have thought I was waving to him to pass the ball, because he kicked it as hard as he could at me — and because I was looking at Anne and not my friend, the ball hit me right in the face!
Basically, I was totally knocked down and everyone started cracking up.
I tried to play it cool, but I must have looked like such an idiot.
Let's just say I don't have much game.
