Hold on tight, spider monkeys, because we're about to blow your minds!
In Twilight, when Edward took Bella up into the forest, director Catherine Hardwicke decided to put the "you better hold on tight, spider monkey" line in at the last minute. But she also gave Robert Pattinson EIGHT different choices of what he could say, including:
"You're not scared of heights, are you?"
"Got a good grip? Don't let go."
"Prepare for liftoff."
We think going with "spider monkey" was a good call! But he could've also said these 4TNZ-written options:
"Buckle up. And by buckle up I mean put your legs around me and hold on tight. I'm not a car. I don't have a seatbelt. Stop pulling at me like I have a seat belt!"
"Thank you for choosing Cullen Airlines, your barf bag is located in front of you."
"Wow, you're really trusting, letting a vampire take you up into trees like this."
"Hold on tight, vaguely simian creature that's more similar to a chimpanzee than a spider monkey."
