The Spider Stole My Crush!

Last week, I decided to take my crush, Lisa, on a date to the park. It was absolutely beautiful outside and I knew she would love it.
I threw a blanket out on the grass, and we just sat next to each other in the sun chatting.
But, in the middle of our convo, a huge spider crawled across my leg...
I absolutely HATE spiders, so I jumped up, screamed like a little girl and started frantically brushing myself off. In the process, I tripped over the picnic basket and landed flat on my face in the grass!
When I finally got a hold of myself, I noticed that Lisa was laughing at me hysterically.
OK, I know it might have been sorta funny. But I didn't think it was!
Anyway, Lisa wasn't exactly impressed with my less than manly reaction...we finished the picnic and she said goodbye without so much as a hug. (Plus, she nicknamed me "Spiderman." Har har har.)
I blew it, didn't I? Man, why did I have to totally bug out?!
