The T-Shirt That Ruined My Love Life

This summer, my whole family took a big vacation to Disney World. And when I say "whole family," I mean it: There were nine cousins with us!
So my dad thought that, since there were so many of us, it would be a great idea to wear matching T-shirts so no one would get lost. I mean, was he serious?
I complained about it and refused to wear the shirt (which was custom made), but my dad left me no choice.
As I sulked around the park with my dorky "Latham Family" tee, I noticed this TOTALLY hot guy, working at one of the gift shops.
Doing my best to cover up the ridiculous shirt I was wearing, I started chatting him up. And just as the cute cashier was about to ask me for my number, my dad just had to walk over and ruin everything.
"Impressed by the shirt, aren't you?" my dad told the hottie. "Go ahead honey. Show him!"
Reluctantly, I unfolded my arms, giving my crush a full-on glimpse of the T-shirt.
"You should have seen the fit Lily had about wearing this," continued my dad. "I mean, is that not a great shirt or what? No need to cry over it!"
OMG, DAAAAAD! As if wearing the silly tee wasn't bad enough...
So much for getting the guy's number. He must have thought I was the biggest loser ever.

ok, sounds like your dad is a little immature, or he secretly dosent want you dating so he is ruining all your chances. i go to disney world with my whole family all the time (all 22 of us. ) and we never have to wear matching shirts. and for the cashire, if he judges you for a shirt that you didnt even want to wear, then mabye you deserve someone better. where do you live anyways, because if he lives in florida and you live somewhere else, it probably wornt work out so just forget him. go out with someone who lives closer to you, who you can see everyday, it will make you happier. (and plus side, if you live in a small town or something, you would totally know if he was cheating on you.)
you can just joke about it with the cashier it's not a big deal
