We Got Hooked On Each Other...Literally

One night, I took my crush Jessica out to the movies and decided that it would be a good night to try to kiss her.
While we were watching the flick, I leaned over for a smooch, but she turned her head and I kissed her ear instead.
Not only did I miss her lips, but my braces got caught in her earring and I was stuck to her! She took out her earring and detached it with a disgusted look on her face.
I guess that must have killed the mood, because when we got to her house, she didn’t want me even walking her to the door.
Guess I should have braced myself for rejection.
