My boyfriend likes the movie, after i dragged him in to see it with me, he had to drag me OUT of the theater...lol. But no, i wouldnt dump my bf if he didnt like it. that's insane. if you've got a steadt bf who loves you and cares about you, i wouldnt give it up just for a book. no matter how totally awesome that book is.
