My Grandpa Farted In Front of Everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, my family organized a big graduation party for my big sister in our house. They even let me invite a bunch of my friends from school, including my biggest crush Justin!
The whole day was really fun — lots of good food and games. My crew had a great time, and Justin got along so well with my whole fam. They even invited him to play charades with all of us.
But just as we were about to get the game organized in the living room, everybody heard a loud "PFFFFFTTTT" and smelled something really rotten...
Was it spoiled egg salad? Nope. Apparently, my grandpa (or Pop Pop, as I call him) was letting loose fart after fart on the couch!
I was so embarrassed, but I didn't want to, like, say anything because I didn't want my Pop Pop to feel bad.
So we all just kind of ignored it and covered our noses as best we could. Finally, after ten minutes of my Pop Pop popping all over the place, Justin excused himself to leave. I couldn't blame him!
But just as he got up, my grandpa stopped him. "Don't worry, son...I'm almost done," he said.
Everybody cracked up. Even Justin! But I'm sure he now thinks my family is totally weird.
What could I have done differently? Was it mean that I felt embarrassed for my grandpa? Should I invite Justin for another family event...and give him nose plugs?

I would invite him to go out again but instead go somewhere instead of staying home. If ur mom won't let u (Mine never would!) just invite him when there isn't a family event going on!

omg i hav a friend who NEVR DRINKS SODA OF ANY KIND. so she nevr brps. but she has to pass gas sum how so she ALWAYS FARTS!!!we wur @ a sleepover 1 time and we had 2 share a bed....sadly
